I have been wanting to make black bean or chick pea brownies for a long time now. I searched through a ton of recipes on Pinterest, searching for a simple recipe I could try. I finally found these Healthy Gluten Free Brownies and decided to give them a shot. I didn’t have any chocolate chips and I had a very ripe banana I wanted to use, so I modified the recipe a bit to bake Chocolate Banana Chickpea Brownies. Give them a try!

Keep in mind, these aren’t regular chocolate brownies but they are pretty damn good! I must admit, the first bite I was a little uncertain but after the second bite you’re hooked.
