Let’s stop it with the store bought salad dressings already. You are an adult who can make a healthy & easy dressing yo’self.
We all love salads, sure. But how many of us are using pre-made, store-bought dressings on our wonderful, home-made salads? (Be honest.)
TOO MANY OF US.
Why? Many store-bought varieties of these dressings are filled to the brim with added sugars and other unnecessary processed additives. Plus, they’re more expensive than the super-cheap ingredients they use to make them anyways, so WHYYYY do people still buy them?
I make my own salad bowls often (AKA throw a bunch of ingredients in a container) and it’s the easiest, quickest meal ever. To learn how to make your own REAL salads for meals, read this article.
Anywho, the salads always look way more impressive than the amount of effort the dressing actually took to make. And to make life even easier, you can make a whole bunch of dressing at once and stick it in the fridge. That way, when you’re pressed for time, you have your own pre-made dressing ready on-hand. You’ll thank your former self, I promise.
There are a million different salad dressing variations available online, on various food blogs and recipes. Pro-tip: grain bowl recipes often use some sort of dressing, too.
But here are a few super simple ones, just to get you started. And before you know it, you’ll be your very own salad connoisseur! 🙂
The instructions for how to make them are the same for each one. It’s simple:
1. Throw all ingredients in a small, sealable container or bowl. 2. Whisk/shake container vigorously. The end.
As for the ingredients themselves… Each of these ingredient lists makes approximately 2 servings. To make more, just multiply the recipe. #math
